Felix from Golden Sun, Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and me from (some approximation of) real life, in the style of the webcomic Order of the Stick. Made in Inkscape.Well. This was fun, but it took rather longer than I expected. Basically, it's a follow-up to the Golden Sun meme I did. Felix was last seen chasing me with the Master Sword and a clown suit.
So, yeah. I'm worth 483 experience and no gold.
I totally cheated on backgrounds; there are four instances there of the Kolima Forest battle background, and one from the Vault Inn attic, both from Golden Sun.
Menardi next, and if I remember I'll put a series of how-I-do-this pics in my scraps from her. It may take a while, though, what with my new job.
Edit: Apparently the art wasn't as clear as I thought, especially without words. Basically, in response to my actions in the meme, Felix is chasing me. Apparently through Kolima Forest. While he is chasing me, I trip on an unexpected lump of ground, whereupon Felix defeats me. After putting his accustomed clothes back on, he thanks Toph for providing the lump (Felix, as I've said elsewhere, has very eloquent body language.) and returns the Master Sword to Link.

Well, you know, it doesn't do to be rude to the Hero of Time, especially since he's got access to other weapons. Especially, things like the Biggoron's Sword. (It's big.)
Never? It's really pretty simple - circle, rectangle, curved lines. Women, non-humans, and hair are complicated, but it's essentially a modified stick figure. (Thus the webcomic's name - Order of the Stick.) I learned from Trazoi's guide , and this was the first thing I produced.

You almost make Link sound like an arms dealer...XD Thanks for the link~ (no pun intended...) I'll try it sometime! Hurr It just looks...complicated to me because I know I'll probably be too lazy to put together all the shapes XD it's still cute.

Nah, she's helping him. He's no firebender, so she doesn't hold a grudge, and she's already beaten him up once. Besides, if I can get away with being mean to one earth-manipulator, who's to say I won't try for others?

Okay, basically, in the Golden Sun meme I filled out, Felix got... irked with the way I treated him, pulled out the Master Sword (from the Zelda games), and was implied to attack and/or chase me. In this, he's chasing me and I trip on an unexpected lump in the ground. He defeats me, nods a "Thanks, and I owe you" to Toph, and returns the Master Sword to Link.

Hm. In that case you might not get as much out of my deviations as some might, since most of what I've got up or planned at least involves GS.
Really, it's a simple story of save the cheerleader princess girlfriend, save the world - except there's a rather big twist about midway through the second game. It was also the first story that got me into the idea of fanfic - the first time I could say "[character A] would say this, rather than that" instead of just "[character A] wouldn't say that". And since then, things have snowballed, in part due to a Livejournal RP known as Milliways.
