The Case of DIDDissociative identity disorder (DID), as defined by the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a condition in which a single person displays multiple distinct identities or personalities (known as alter egos or alters), each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment.

We've also got DID, and I'm really glad this picture is so colorful and the host looks happy and relaxed, and the people in their system are all so varied as individuals. It's rare to find singlets who don't portray it as some kind of edgy, horrific thing and make it look like a bunch of faces of the same person all showing different moods or screaming in agony. x x
We're a system that gets along fairly well, for the most part. I love my system-mates, and while the trauma part of DID sucks, having people with me all the time has its advantages. <3 We're a motley crew.

That's so lovely to hear, we feel the same way. The media portraits DID as such a horrible thing most of the time and people tend to just pick up on that.

we have DID.
this represents it really well, we esspecially like that way each identity in the picture is different and some even seem to represent what their role inside is.

Thank you so much, i was really aware of DID when I first heard about it on the news,and it amazed me on how different identities develop on one single person
