You open up an old history book that you had stolen from 7th grade. You look through and reread some of it’s contents. Where it says that in 2045 an alien race called trolls came to the planet Earth, where humans use to live, and tried to take over. A few years had passed before The Condesce decided it would be easier to just let them be somewhat free by inciting a peace treaty. By the time 2068 came both Earth and Alternia both were starting to deteriorate and were no longer livable places. So all trolls and human got on board a spaceship, with all the thing you see today, and set off to find a new planet. Most, if not all things on the ship went into cryogenics chambers and traveled for 300 years. They were woken up when a new planet for both of them to live on appeared, and thus began to colonize it, calling it Alterra. The trolls had a major loss on the trip though. The Mother Grub, bearer of their offspring, had passed on. But as the trolls watched the humans they started to copy their mating styles, and after many tries, a troll got pregnant. It was unheard of, but seeing as the trolls needed to survive they let it be. Soon it became the norm and no one asked why or how.

You closed the book knowing how everything turned out after that. You live on Alterra after all and it’s the year 2463. Your name is (y/n) and you are 18 years old. You live in foster care due to being abandon as a very young child. You live with a family that is an interspecies one. In other words a troll and human couple with two adoptive trolls and one human. They are really nice and you love them a lot.

That was another thing that was started about 35 years ago. Human and trolls becoming quadmates or even going to old human customs called marriage where they only stayed with that individual. You thought it was nice that humans and trolls would get together.

You decided to go to bed since it was late. As you drifted off to sleep you began to think about the guy who has your heart, smiling as sleep claimed you.
