which was a shame, cause i wa slikign how this was turning out, but the eyes they use ont he series really needed me to of drawn a bigger head... curse you hindsight and your 20/20-ness!!!!
anyways, Justie Ueki Tylor [Age 20] unsuprising lead role of above mentioned series that i just finished watchign, man its a goodun!!!

okay so the head is tiny and the body's a little chubby but it's no that bad! i mean the colouring's pretty good, and..uhh okay maybe i should stop slagging you off. i mean seriously, at least you had the guts to post your art even when it's not your best - kudos to you sir.

Good series, Nadesico still holds top spot in the "Wraith 11 favorite anime" list though. Currently own only the Series, can't afford the OVA yet. Nice drawing, it's even got the smily face badge!

I have the dvd boxset collections for this one too (including the ova (which finishes the series), which comes second not first to the tv series, just in case you don't know).
I'm assuming you do know though since you've watched the series. What another great coincidence that we've both seen this anime and are also fans of it (ot at least I am). I've been meaning to draw more Tylor artwork for a long time but I just never get around to doing it.
Tylor is my tie favorite anime series next to Evangelion.

cheers, as ive said to others, i REALLY messed the head, but the rest i liked, so i may redraw but bigger so iu can do the funny eyes, and ent the Original Video Animation just clips of the series usually? Now i wanna see it... I got a special boxset which has the soundtrack, many extra extras and a fanscript in when i got it, the fan script say Yuriko and Tylor marry, does that happen in the OVA?

The OVA continues the story where the tv series left off. Tylor is given a secret mission by Admiral Mifune in private, on a boat in the middle of the ocean at night and no one else knows about this secret mission in except for maybe Admiral Fuji.
The nature of the mission is so secret they cannot even let their own people know about, and Tylor cannot tell his crew whats going on, he can only lead them on the mission as planned. This leads to them losing faith in him and his loyalty to them is questioned.
There are three discs to the OVA series. The first disc contains a single movie called "An exceptional Episode" or "Tylor's War".
The second and third discs contain subplot and sideline stories of the other characters and go into their lives on a more personal level (theres an episode for the marines, an episode for Ensign Kojiro, one for Azalyn, one for Tylor and Yuriko intitled "White Christmas", and then on the last disc is the finale of the series intitled "Will The Skies Ever Clear?" and it is broken up into two parts.
The OVA is written in continuity so its not like each side story is a completely random event. It all leads up to the finale which was very well done. The writers/directors/producers commentary provides additional information on each episode and details you might not be aware of about the series or characters (as it was for the tv series).
As for your question of whether or not they marry in the OVA, you'll just have to watch it yourself and read the final episode notes.
The OVA Collection will cost you about 40-70 depending on where you buy it. Its well worth the money because its a necessary part of the show and obviously finishes it off. The series would not be complete without it.

But if it doesn't have the extra features or its just the episodes then its not too much of a bargain. Remember that.
The OVA is much more series and darker than the tv series was, because the war is starting up again, and theres a new threat and Wang is getting more agressive in his bid to control the Empire. The series ends on a rather dramatic, but wonderful and inspiring note.
