Description
quoting what ~MaliciousEmphasis said months ago:"I realized, I'm not a machine,
so I'm trying let my fear go...
...come what may."
haven't been able to forget these words ever since and today this was born: to show the fear of being in a relationship, falling in love with someone
the butterfly is a borrowed symbol from chinese mythology: the insect symbolizes a young man in love and is portrayed drinking from the (female) blossoms
fear of letting someone get too close, fear of letting the feelings become too deep
wouldn't it all be much more simple if we were just senseless machines without any emotions, with no soul looking for the other half?
thanks for looking

Tehnilisest poolest jÀÀb puudu. Peaks vÀhem tasapinnaline tunduma.
Aga mida ma rÀÀgin, ma olen üldse kunsti hüljanud. : (

Love the image (for me it reminds me of imagery from Metropolis, the Fritz Lang Silent film?) Love the edition of the butterfly, think it adds a great deal to the philosophical thought behind the image. The butterfly emerging, beautiful, from the previous existance of a caterpillar. Perhaps, the butterfly represents the soul, that part of us that distinguishes us from machines?
Great piece of work.

thank you for your comment
in my picture, the butterfly represents a male human being, approaching a female one, and many women wish they could just forget all their feelings and become machines. but i like your idea as well

Hey, never become a machine. Feelings beat from the heart, nothing wrong with feelings.
