Yep, another Drizzt pic, (at least he has all his clothes in this one
) I painted this one in Adobe Photoshop. I tried a different painting style, no inked outlines were used and I am extremely pleased with the outcome so I may be painting more pictures in this style in the future.

Try looking around for tutorials here on DA. There are plenty of amazing artists that have taken the time to explain how to draw/paint and I'm sure you could find some helpful. You also may find some helpful things over at [link] . Its a DA group just dedicated to working with Photoshop.
Personally, I learned by just practicing and experimenting with different things myself to see what worked the best for me. But not everyone likes to work that way.
Anyway, try that link to the DA group and you may find some help. Hope that helped a bit.

i started reading the books and found myself wanting to draw guen a lot. I have photo shop, but i cant seem to use it correctly. I have no idea how u manage to color like that, its so realistic, and i really wish i could do that. Good job ^^

love how the lighting effects turned out in this and the swirls of the magic of his blade and the clouds especially....it has this "old, classic, mystical painting" feel to it

Niiiiice. You did really good on this one. The only discrepencies I see are his right hand looks a bit small and that dark outline around his ear is odd. I love the brooding atmosphere of the pic. Dizzt's got that warrior thang goin on. The circling birds are a really nice touch too.
