Funny you mention Instagram - my brother keeps telling me I should post my stuff there as well since apparently that's where all the artists are getting their spotlight (though it will never be as good as dA in my books

You'd probably get a pretty big following fairly fast, since you have such creative colorful images.
For me personally, my art account has been around for about half a year and I only have around 180 followers. 
It would be great to see you on Instagram though. It's so much more active then DA. Even with my small following now, I am already getting more attention for my art there then anything on DA lately.

I've been wanting to do some fresh fan-art in a while. Probably more Nintendo stuff than Final Fantasy this time around. Finding the time though is hard, since I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to drawing characters - a fan-art piece tends to take a lot longer than one of my landscape or space themed works.
