Description
These are some designs I came up with last year while trying to figure out what to wear for prom (just found them in my sketch book...). I ended up doing yet another variation (my friend's mom made it, I just designed it and modified a pattern that already existed to look like what I wanted...), but it was pretty similar to these. I'll get a pic up as soon as I can find a full body one... someone somewhere has one.Tell me what you think! This was really my first shot at fashion stuff.

my favourite is probably the top right design because the gauzy stuff looks like it flows and coats the dress. Also the way the mesh is gathered on the bust looks good on that sketch.
And that is your first try at fashion stuff? *faints* it's beautiful as are your drawings.

wow... thanks!
It is my first real try at fashion stuff... as in the first time it's left my head. I've always had a knack for design, though, and this wasn't really any different from anything else. I just have a really good spacial sense. Don't ask me to sew, though, I'm hopeless at anything larger than a purse XP
Totally wasn't expecting all that praise, though ^^

you're a very talented artist.
I can sew sort of. Like in a straight line and I can sew basic toys and stuff. Good luck with this!

looks good...different, and let's be honest, that's all that really matters in a prom dress. so i'd say it works. i'm not much of a clothing designer outside of screenprinting, but it seems like anything loose hanging in the front would get in the way when you're dancing...good luck mate

thanks... it's not really mesh... well, it is, but it's like the stuff chocolate sometimes comes wrapped in... so it's more like really thin fabric

I like the design in the lower right simply because itβs asymmetrical.

lol, they're all asymmetrical... I rarely do anything symmetrical.

How about SUPER asymmetrical? Also, I like the drapes. Or whatever youβd call that part of the dress.

lol, thanks... and I don't know what I'd call that, either... it's clear meshy stuff... which I'm pretty sure is how I described it through the whole fitting process XP
