Description
Rendered in Daz Studio. A customized version of the Vanishingpoint Galaxy Class bridge. I didn't bother changing all the LCARS, so don't look too closely. Although, please do support me by downloading the big 8K version!
What do you think about the carpet? I tried to make this Enterprise-E era, but went with this cream color instead of the dark slate blue.

Although most didn’t show it, except perhaps Ensign Keeler, the excitement among the crew was palpable. Each member was focused on final checks before the Arakawa was to be launched in one hour’s time.
“Hi there! Uh… I mean uh… Sir!” Sat at the helm, Ensign Andrew Keeler tried hard to contain his enthusiasm as the Trill chief operations officer Lieutenant Commander Yanas Perim took her seat next to him.
“Relax Ensign. I don’t bite.” Lieutenant Commander Perim smiled at the young ensign, remembering herself, the nerves and adrenaline that come from your first big assignment. Wearing a grin, the Commander continued in a whisper. “Although, you may want to be careful around our tactical officer, Talla, I have it on good authority she does bite.”
Ensign Keeler shifted uncomfortably in his seat gazing back at the attractive and imposing Andorian security officer Lieutenant Commander Talla Sh’reyan. She must have somehow overheard as she looked him straight in the eye and snapped her jaw before turning back to her workstation with a suppressed giggle.
At the center of the bridge the first officer and captain were going over the final crew reports.
“The crew is nearly ready to get underway Captain.” First officer Commander D’rel Jemison paused, looking as though he was unsure if he should express his next thought to his new captain, but then considering it safe he continued, “I… must say I’m rather eager myself. Nebula class vessels have always been a favorite of mine.” The Commander addressed his captain with a child-like gleam in his eye, contrasting with Jemison’s imposing physique.
“We all have our favorites Commander.” Captain Elrick responded with a wisp of a chuckle. “From what chief engineer T’Shanik tells me, this ship should soon become one of mine. Or as she put it…” the captain pointed her thumb towards the engineer who was gazing intently at the master situation monitor. “‘You will find the USS Arakawa to be a most effective and efficient starship’.”
To the port side of the bridge, communications officer lieutenant junior grade Azur Beckt a young Bolian man worked at his console next to the Caitian chief science officer M’ow.
“Sensors are looking good. Meow.” M’ow purred as she tapped at her console. “How’s comms?”
“Everything is operational.” The Bolian turned looking a slight bit uneasy. “M’ow… what do you know of our captain? This is her first command correct?”
“Meow. Yeah, it’s her first command, but her record is crazy good. I was really excited when I found out it would be her. Actually…” M’ow was cut off by the swishing sound of the rear turbolift doors as chief medical officer Devni Rixx strode onto the bridge.
Commander Devni Rixx, an older man from Betazed, was another one of those miracle working doctors Starfleet is so famous for. However he did have the bad habit of not looking where he was going. “Ah!” the doctor nearly tripped over the rail separating the command area from the rear of the bridge.
“Devni! Are you ok?” Captain Elrick turned as the doctor caught himself. “You really need to start looking where you’re going.”
“Victoria! Ah, yes… well I do tend to have a bit of tunnel vision now and then.” Realizing there was a reason he came to the bridge the doctor continued, “Oh, right, here is my medical report. The crew checks in. Although I did have to take care of an acute case of Altarian encephalitis that Ensign Klaa contracted.”
The captain raised an eyebrow. “I thought Klingons were immune to Altarian encephalitis.”
“So did I until yesterday. But we’re here for the new and unexplored.” The doctor laughed, as he handed the captain his padd.
