I suck at pixels if you want me to be honest. I've made at least 150 and I still stink. This tutorial will be my next attempt, but my only issue is that I SUCK AT HORSE ANATOMY. lol. The horse would be perfect with shading and shape and all if I knew horse anatomy. <3 I need help, bad.

Question - I'm looking into PSP because I love how this looks, multiply/overlay, ect. makes you lose so much detail. But, for each coloring, will you need to duplicate the layers? Also, how would you do markings? Assuming with a lasso?

Rhetorical. and sort of, "Wow, you made another one?"

Is that a rhetorical or otherwise sarcastic question?

You use the same 1 pixel sharp brush or pencil tool throughout the basing; same as the shadows.

I've read several times, can't find where it says what type of layers you use. << Do you use multiply for the colour?

I use normal layers. You are not supposed to use overlay, multiply, screen, etc. for pixel art.

I use a mouse A tablet would make things 90% easier, but it's not necessary when you get to the point in knowing where the shadows go.

Okay. I use a mouse, and I thought you used a tablet from how yours looked. I can barely paint with a mouse, so I find it difficult to do pixels with one.

Pixel art isn't at all like painting. It's about 'clicking'/ assigning where you want the pixels to go. FTR, I am a terrible digital painter with a mouse

Lol. I know how you feel with painting. I use a broken mouse so it is kind of hard to work with it sometimes.

Do you know if Photoshop has a coloring tool similar to the one you are using on Paintn Shop Pro? Lovely tutorial - very useful and easily understandable

Thank you :3
Since I don't use Photoshop, I have no clue if it has something similar or now.

Really nice tutorial Makes me want to get back to making tags xD
Just out of curiosity, how long does it take you from start to finish on a tag?

Including sketching, maybe 1.5 to 2 hours. Without sketching anywhere from 40 minutes and up.

Well first off I can tell that you either didn't use a 100% opaque brush or used a brush with anti-aliasing or smudged the shading after. It just takes practice!

Wow, I just downloaded your older tutorials last night, and then this came out. I'm pretty excited. My style is really amateur and only looks good on certain colors of horses. It needs some polishing. Thank you, I really appreciate this
