Description A Japanese Self Defence Force RF-4E Phantom.

A nice paint job, full view for more detail.

Taken at the USAJ Yokota Air Base near Tokyo, on the friendship day. Plenty of aircraft from the US and Japan.

I believe a few are still going even now in 2011. They do want to replace them but I cant remember what with. I did read they are updating F-15s to do something.

I know an AF guy that flys a Phantom aka F-4 in the USAF. I also emailed him the image of the F-4

Cool. Yeah I think it is Woody Wood Pecker. The plane was painted by some guys in the JSDF.
