Finished enough to show. This is a color sketch for a possible painting. It is oil on a plastic lid that I pulled out of the trash and is about 8 inches in diameter. The lady in grey is leading her chosen successor on a procession to introduce her to the world and as long as the older lady is alive, the younger will serve as her apprentice. The image is meant to be like something that would be painted at the time, so it has a reverential flavor.
