just learning so probably a stupid question but, how did you get it to blend so nicely on step 4 and on 5 where you made the overlay layer did you just put little streaks in it to make it look like the lines on the lips? got a little lost around those steps.

In photoshop/sai/gimp ect there atool called the blur tool. I used that to blur it.
and number five is optional. You don't hve to do it.

oh no no it was fine,i'm just really new to trying to color things using ps and i grabbed the blur tool and went to town on it and smeared it everywhere and had my lips all kinda weird shapes so apparently i have it set to high or something lol.
