As the weeks rolled by, Arwa trusted and listened to Kyna more and more. With competitions coming up, Kyna started working Arwa on small jumps. The place they were training today was on top of a flat hill, with a splendid view of the surrounding hills and mountains. Kyna set up the small jump. “Okay girl, time to see how confident you are with your feet off the ground.” Kirraq laughed. As always he was here to help Kyna with training Arwa and teacher her some things as well.

“What you will do is lunge her her like normal, then slowly step towards the jump.” Kirraq instructed. :Arwa should move with you. It's okay if she hesitates or stops.”

Kyna started the exercise, letting Arwa warm up before slowly moving towards the small jump. When they were close enough to the jump, Kyna held her breath.

Arwa cantered through the small jump without hesitation. She landed balanced and confident. Again Kyna lunged her through the jump, and again she did just fine.

“Seems She already has been trained to jump!” Kyna yelled excitedly.

“Don't get carried away, now.” He answered, always serious. “Let's try lunging her without the rope over the jump.”

Arwa leaped over the wooden pole once again as if she had been jumping her whole life.

“Well, time to put the saddle on!”
