Description
...Obi-Wan Kenobi didn't particuarily care for animals of any kind, being apprenticed to a Master who seemed to drag in every kind of creature known to the galaxy only cultivated Obi-Wan's distaste for "Pathetic life-forms", but the teenager had to admit that THIS creature took the cake...This is the result of watching Lilo and Stitch and reading the Jedi Apprentice books.
Weird critter (c) me, Obi-Wan (c) Lucas and Watson.

Thanks, I'm especially pleased with how our favorite padawan turned out, I was hoping to make him resemble Ewan McGregor enough to where a person would know who it was while keeping him looking like a 14 year old.

Good! By the way, your new pic is SUPER! (pun unintended) Perhaps someday when we get our respective story lines straight we could do a little crossover with our characters.

Thanks. That sounds like a great idea! It's a good thing my sister and I are working on the characters now. XP

I have a script in the works, and really all I have so far is the idea of having 1938/39 Europe's political setting, only in a much more modern retelling; with intolerance of most religious thought, political reasoning, and all 'super abilities' banned, since they pose a threat to the government. What do you think? Too weird? Too predictible? I know it could work if it was written correctly, but I don't want it to be too cliche`. Got any ideas to help me out?

My sister and I were thinking along the same line, but that instead the people possessing powers were feared for some reason. We're still trying to work out a storyline.

Interesting! Perhaps we could combine stories if the story lines are simillar enough. (just tossing this out as a suggestion, I'm not meaning to be pushy or anything, since I hate pushy people because I know what they're like. )

We could do like you suggested with a crossover story, or once my sister and I get ours going, we could merge them. We (My sister) and I are planning on putting our story in a comic form; we both make the script and I draw it out. I've tried a few experimental pages with some of our characters, although I don't know where the story is going. XP

I've been doing the same thing, but I've been doing it alone, which makes it hard since there is no one around to bounce ideas off of. The crossover sounds cool, I think it would be too much work to do the merged story as... well, canon. (Wow, that sounded official and weird all at once!)The comic part is getting hard to do, since drawing the correct shots and a way that flows smoothly is key (not to mention a good script, but we all know how hard thast can be...)

Alright, so crossover it is. I collect comic books, along with my sister, so we at least have some idea on how to draw out things in comic form.(It really does help, because it gives a variety of shots and different artists draw out the stories in one book.) I totally agree with you, the script IS the hardest part. I don't know how many ideas I've tossed because they sounded too weird or too close to another real comic story.

I collected a few Star Wars comics, so I have some inkling of how to place the panels and the character poses, so that's good. I just need to get my script up and running before ANOTHER year passes on by! O_O
I just had an idea... we could have a cameo appearance of each other's characters in a panel or two. (like in the background, not having anything to do with the story line but still be there. That would save some time and effort on our part, and yet it would still be a nod to each other.) What do you think? Better than a crossover?

A cameo would be good. I've done that with my horse comic [link] & [link] . The horses in the background are my friend's characters, who are making their cameos. I could work that out easier since my revolves around a city, so frequent cameos would be possible.

Sweet. I would have to write out a bit where my characters are in the city, so we could have a scene where it would be consistant with one another's stories, and have your charcters in the proper backgrounds.

That'll work great! We could do something where you would see them in a shop or on a bus in the background.
