Description
What if Qui-Gon Jinn survived the fight with Darth Maul?(and didn't trow Obi-Wan away for Anakin and waited to take the boy as his padawan-learner until Obi-Wan's knighting)
Well this could be a holopicture taken by Anakin (there was no space left to draw him too) about a year after TPM (the phantom menace). They all live happily in the temple (they freed Anakins mother maybe).

If only there were more Star Wars Infinities stories... With Qui-Gon as the soft-spoken Jedi Master and father figure, not to mention Ob-Wan as an alternate source of advice... Anakin would've truly blossomed in this universe.

I feel you on this one, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan did make a good master-padawan team.
If Qui-Gon had survived, he could have been Anakin's part-time master.
Which would have given Obi-Wan more time for himself to adjust to his new rank/role
as knight and as master to a padawan. Not to mention that he'd still be the first Jedi
in a milenium to kill a Sith. It would have been better for all of them and Anakin would
never have felt like a burden to anyone.

Qui-Gon could easily tell that Palpatine is a sith, that's how badass he truly can be.

How much trauma did Kenobi go through? A shit load and yet Sidious is obviously stupid enough not to notice and use it to his own advantage, like haunt his dreams and put visions of Qui's death in his head making him feel more guilty and easier to turn.

hmmm yes. Dooku wanted to have obi-wan on the darkside
because he was more stable and mature than anakin.
I believe that Obi-Wan when fully turned would have made
a powerfull sith.Β

And unlike Anakin, he wouldn't betray his new master (cus of Vader's betrayal in RotJ)

Would've loved to see Qui-Gon as Anakin's mentor; that way there would probably be no Darth Vader or any rise of the Empire. However you can't stop Anakin from marrying Padme and them having Luke and Leia!

that would be for the best, in the real universe Anakin is way to obsessed with her. furthermore I understand what Anakin sees in her, but what does PadmΓ© see in him?
Do you prefer Obidala or should she stay away from the jedi?

No I just hate Obidala
She should have done none of the above, if you ask me. True, AOTC was pretty much just teen love, and Anakin, who's never been taught how to talk to women before in his life, does come off as somewhat creepy, and I can understand why people would think that.
Despite their "awkward" dialogue and their mistakes, Anidala has my full support. Hell in AOTC Padme had been chasing him half the movie, not to mention that after she says that they can't be together, he backs off. Do any other creepers do that? I don't think so. And when she admits that she loves him, he's taken aback at first, saying that they agreed not to fall in love. Any other creeper would probably say "Cool!" right away
I would definitely say since Anakin is so loyal and devoted to those he loves, she found that part of him attractive.
BTW Obsessive? Again, I say deeply in love with her (but I can understand why some people would call that obsessive)
Just do me a favor and try to shove your opinion down my throat; that would be just plain insulting.

I think he may have came of kind of creepy to some people because their relationship wasn't as well done as it could've been (I think I prefer fan interpretations of their relationship to be honest) and he was a love-sick teenager who probably saw her in the eyes of the same 9/10 year-old boy he was when he last saw her. I don't think it was so much that he was obsessive as the fact that he had severe abandonment issues and was terrified of loosing her (which probably stemmed from being taken from his mother than watching her die and Qui-Gon's death.) If he hadn't been taken from his mother or at least Qui-Gon hadn't died they probably would've had a healthier relationship because Anakin probably wouldn't have had the abandonment and mental issues he did.

well I ment with obsessive how anakin acts in ep3, before that he just loves her deeply, very deeply, nothing more.
I'm glad that you don't like obidala, it's to unrealistic for my taste.
hmm, maybe I should write a fic 'bout this, well after my final exams.

Oh, I see what you're saying now; sorry.
But yeah, Anakin did really love her, no doubt about that. But after having the nightmare about her, he starts to become really obsessive, I know.
I'm glad you don't like Obidala either; it's really disgusting.
