Description
This is Silver SandStalker, one of the main cast to a story that I am writing called Drifter's Way. Silver is the leader Prince/Thane of a nomadic clan known as Drifter. They are one of the few clans that will actually stettle in a stationary city for extend amounts of time. When I get a chance I'll add a link to his profile as soon as I have it uploaded, since it's quite long
I have have had a few people asking me about him so I finally got off my duff and colored an image...mind you the image I worked on is an incomplete sketch, was going through a long legged stage...

For helpful tips and suggestions to get his hair and fur tones to look correct. Silver hair is not an easy thing to shade o.O And I tent to try and work backwards when it comes to shading black...ah well I survived.
My original intent was to make the background look like an antique picture..didn't turn out the way I had originally planned but I like it just the same.

Thanks ^^ I think I still want to take another crack at this image when I get a chance and try coloring it in a different way to see if I can get his coloration to turn out a bit more the way I originally wanted it to.

The quote is prefect and it will be a glorious day when all will follow such wise words. Now as for Silver, you've done a great job on him. Coloring a character that is black always has the challenge of the shadows and making their features stand out. You have handled both very well. The shadows are accented by the highlights and make a smooth transition from light to dark. His eye are a good contrast to the black of his fur and the long silver hair makes him all the more handsome and he has the stance of someone with the grace of a ballet dance.
Now all we need is the next chapter of his wonderful story.
