8 x 10 on watercolor paper. Brown ink and watercolor.Since reading is an important part of a child's life, I thought that may be a good subject for the nursery. This is the only indoor setting in this series, its colors are not connected to the others, it works for this piece, but separates it from the others. The orange and blue color combos was fun to work with.

There was this alphabet book I saw in WI that was "B is for Badger" and this reminded me of it. They also had C is for cheese... (it was in Wisconsin after all.) Love the candle, it's the icing on this cake. The leftmost mouse totally has this crazy look in his eye. I think he wants to eat the paper cheese.
