Description 8 x 10 inches on 140lb watercolor paper. Brown ink and watercolor.

EDIT Fixed something that was bothering me. Now I am okay with it.

This is an illustration for a nursery. I wanted something that a child could think and dream about. The idea of scurrying through the trees jumping and running must be a thrilling thing to do.

I always wanted to do that... but am told that I am a little bit squirrelly at times.

Course the problem is we'd have to walk on the ground sometimes, and squirrels don't have much sucess with cars.

Love the composition on this one. And, the fact that the squirrel is whole. But seriously, that is one cute squirrel. This is a great example of your linework, especially when viewing it full-sized.

This one is a favorite of mine for how large and dynamic pose the squirrel is in.

your going to think i'm nuts but here is my reason for faving this. other than it being a really good painting a few days ago a baby squirrel fell from our tree and it was pouring rain. So we put it in a box with some cherrios and a towel. When the rain stopped we put it next to the tree it fell from and the mother a few hours later put the poor thing around it's back and took it up to their nest I was so relieved a cat or something like that didn't get it great painting!
