Zuko&Azula both by meIt's bit weird playing two different gender characters at the same time. But they are siblings, they should look alike in some extent.
I'm definitely not a good cosplayer, but doing make up is fun. kind like drawing.
Thank my friend Anna for made me Zuko and Azula's Costume.
Aftar I tried the costumes up, I decide to do a make up test.
I tried both characters' make up. it was the first time I tried Zuko, It was actually easier than I though it would be. The scar is pretty rough and it's on the wrong side....

I would never laugh at you! shy works well for Zuko, you will come off as dark and angsty

By the way, your Azula and Zuko cosplay looks better (or best! ) than the other "Fire Nation siblings" in a "certain" movie made by M. Night Shyamalan, even though the scar was on the wrong side but I don't mind.
You look so sweet when you smile as Azula! Honestly, I didn't sense any "evilness" from Azula and I felt like 
"hmmm..... I think Zuzu is easier for me."
My opinion, you look better and very suitable cosplaying as Azula 
But hey, many people haven't seen a cosplayer cosplaying as Azula with nice and sweet personality. You could be the first and only Azula with such personality in the Festival than the majority of "typical" Azula cosplayers there.

thought my fanart is OOC sometime, but for cosplay I perfer those can make it as really as possible, in both appearence and perfermance.
"Zuzu is easier for me." I mean, it take less time to makeup as Zuzu's and the expression is easier.

I have no doubt that your appearance and performance as either Azula or Zuko in the Festival will be fantastic! 
Although I'm unable to be there at the Festival to see you in person, I still have no doubt about it!

I put to photo together. and yes, both are played by me.
I like makeup, though I'm not makeup myself often, but I help cosplayers to do cosplay makeup from time to time. for me it's more like a kind face painting art. It's fun to see how people become different after the makeup. Sometimes it can be just like a different person!~
looking "neutral" is actually a big advantage for a cosplayer, which means more freedom in cosplay. and like I said before, you got a nice face shape, I can see lots possiblity there, as long as you get the makeup right.
p.s. Zuzu's scar was on the right side when i look in the mirror <--I think i just too stupid.

well for my face, it changes once you change the angle of the picture. my face would work best as a male character, not female much. i have yet to play with makeup and see what it can do. maybe i'll make a zuko/azula cosplay one day soon.
