So my roommate helped me curl my hair for my Halloween costume for tomorrow. This is only the beginning. The true battle begins tomorrow to make this head of hair truly worthy of a Cretan princess. My gods, this is bouncy. And incredibly weightless. I should consider doing this more often. It actually looks quite nice and it might be nice not to feel like my hair's a weight.Related content

I wasn't able to post pictures of the full costume. But I've posted pictures of the end result of the make-up. To be honest, I think the dress could have gone better. xD It looked a little too "bought this at the store" for the effect I wanted.

The vine detail was really cool.
I imagine it's hard to come up with really good costumes unless you're good at making clothes yourself.

Thank you! ^_^ I was quite proud of it. Though I think I did better on my right eye. For some reason I always mess up while doing the left side.
It certainly is. It just doesn't feel quite authentic. I'm hoping to eventually learn how to make clothes myself. It'd be really cool to make my own costume and maybe physically create the clothing I picture my characters wearing. Thankfully a friend of mine is willing to help me out.
