I MADE IT TO THE MIDSEMESTER HOLIDAYS! WOOHOO!!
I've become so easily obsessed with experimenting in metallic inks as of late. While I was overseas over the break, I managed to discover this awesome fine art store that stocked SOOOO MUCH AWESOME ART SUPPLIES! So, as you do, I blew a big portion of my Christmas savings on new supplies, including a heap more of metallics, so VOILA!
Metallic silver meets metallic rose gold!!!

The new course is heaps fun actually! I should probably write about it soon.
The only thing is, right now the course is quite introductory and basic as to get everyone on the same level, so we're learning stuff like How to use Photoshop. I haven't been able to learn much just yet, but I'm just excited to know that I get to commit and focus towards eventually doing the fun stuff and learning theory

This is lovely. I am looking forward to an art class we have soon where we can use gold leaf. I was quite surprised that it actually isn't that expensive. I wonder what the effect will be like. Are the `metallics' you used paints or sheets of metallic material? Sorry, I'm such a newb.

Thank you! OOH, I've actually just discovered gold/silver leaf and flakes as well recently! I haven't had a chance to use them, but I did pick some up the other day and hopefully I'll be able to give them a crack soon.
The metallics I use are liquid metallic ink, so it's applied much like ink or paint, and dries to a flat, even and almost matte surface.

HEAAAPS fun playing with new colours. I can't stop playing with metallics haha they're so much fun. Only thing is, the more I experiment with them, the more I start discovering that theres so many types of metallics (gold leaf / flakes / silver / even GREEN/BLUE metallics!), and my pockets aren't that deep
