Sometimes, we can become enslaved by our own thoughts, beliefs and feelings, for the good and the bad. We become subjects to our very own minds, and we simply can't break free, because we can't escape ourselves.

Not really sure why, but I've realised most of my work is centred around the 'mind'. I've only just realised this strange obsession, but I guess it makes sense because the mind is such a powerful, complex and limitless thing, which I guess is the beauty of it. It's a bit dark and of an idea and is quite depressing, but it was a piece that's been lingering in my mind for a while now, so glad it's finally out!

Oh wow this reminds me of Karan S'Jet from the video game Homeworld (it's pretty obscure so I'm not sure if you've heard of it.) This is absolutely gorgeous and I love the concept.

I really love the forshortening on her arm, but I can't see any indication of her Other arm? There isn't any chain going to the other wrist??
