Okay. I don't know how I did it... but I do know why.
I know I only just finished the painting Turn The Lights Out yesterday, but I've been feeling so motivated and driven to draw all of a sudden. Probably partly due to the fact that I've got four days off from work in a row (WOOHOO!!). But seriously, I don't know how I finished a piece so quickly, in a single day as well! I can't believe it myself haha.
But the reason why I know I could do it, is because for this year, I've set myself a goal straight from the start. I want to start 2015 with a big bang, and try my hardest! Last year, when I decided to pursue my art and really pump it out and to learn everything I could, I felt so much happier in a weird way, because I was driven and motivated by a passion that I wanted to pursue. But it was only halfway through the year that I decided that, and boy, it was a crazy and roller-coaster of half-year, I still can't even believe half the things that happened.
So with a goal set in sight for 2015, I'm going to go all out this year! I'm going to chase a dream, until the end!

I am not certain who this is in the picture, but regardless, it is a beautiful picture. I love the feeling that her face and upper body are lit up by a candle.
Let me go through this one step at a time. I am not entirely certain what they mean by vision, but the insight (which is what I think they mean) that went into this is amazing. I love the flowing feeling of the picture and the way the "candle" lights up her face and seems to highlight her hair and her scarf and brings the woman into perspective, and the serene expression on her face is simply divine.
This is a very original picture, one I feel safe in giving five stars in every aspect. I have not seen a picture quite like this before anyway.
The technique that went into this is really amazing. The art involved in this was awesome, and though I don't know who she is, I would love to know more about her, which ties into the impact. If she is an OC, then I would love to see her entire profile. If she is a character from an anime or manga, I would love to see what anime/manga she is from.
Overall, amazing job. I love art like this that makes me want to learn more about the character involved, that does not tell me too much about the picture that it leaves nothing to the imagination. Amazing work. I would not change anything about this picture.

Everything about this strikes me as astonishing. The color scheme first and foremost, and also (and especially) the line quality. I love the softness of the facial features in relation to the linear quality of the hair, and the movement of the linework from one side of the frame to the other. The light effects are a beautiful touch. At first I sort of took them for granted I think, but now I'm wondering if there is supposed to be a particular source to the light, and whether perhaps it is meant to be a sort of "internal" glowing. All in all I feel this to be a very strong piece. It puts me in mind of a sort of modern art nouveau piece, which to me is a very good thing. Great work!
