(First of all, I don't have anything against furries/anthro).

Kemonomimi (AKA hybrids) are characters who have the ears (and sometimes tail, paws and other small features) of an animal. They are not furries, but perhaps a distant cousin of them. Some kemonomimi have more animal qualities than others, and because the line may be blurry at times, I can forgive people for sometimes not knowing the difference.

However, most kemonomimi are very obviously human, only having the ears (and tail). This is also sometimes considered to be "10% furry, but still not furry." Often times, Kemonomimi are entirely human, just wearing fake animal ears, tails or gloves shaped like paws. This is still considered Kemonomimi, but not hybrids.

Some fans of Kemonomimi may not be fans of Furry and vice versa. Please use these terms correctly~
