My entry for the Super Sally contest going on atI wanted to do more with it, and make it look cooler in areas, and add lightning and stuff, but then I figured, ya know, it's got enough f@#$ing stuff done to it already.
In any case, I do hope it's well-received. I'll upload the cool-looking powerup thing too... maybe...

Provided she retains her normal persona. When one of my characters powered up, she not only metamorphed, she also had a total mind-inversion and became evil to an degree and extension you and I can not understand ! She could -and would- KILL a person just to bring such back to life, and repeat the deed over & over, to BREAK that person and make such her slave ! The PAIN and SUFFERING !

The sheer concept of a super SALLY was well worth it here! [I mean, we've already seen the game characters in some super mode art wise some how. ] Sally here, just looks well done.
I'm sure you were going for the lighting effects [Which is supposed to be showing her cgoing super of course. That would only make sense, right? ] and I like that. Is that neon glow you used for the glow around her or just a manual paintbrush ?I'm really interested in how you did the energy effect around her because it's really cool.
What was nice in my opinion is that you made her fur color bright, but kept her original colors in tact~! [Instead of doing a super Sonic and Knuckles things where they sport completely knew designs, hairstyles and colors. At least Sally looks normal, but like she's glowing super, not a completely different character design.]
The pose rocks! yes, that charging up from DBZ pose, but used on Sally..well hey, yo've seen the pose in the games, why diss a good thing you know?
Dude...you did a beautiful job on this and if you don't win that contest, then I'll probably wonder what' sgoing on with the judges. I am IMPRESSED.

Thanks a bunch for the constructive breakdown 
The glow about her is a little more than the Photoshop "outer glow" layer filter. But not much more. I took all the lineart and colors, and made a white sillhouette of them. I put the glow on that, then offset it upwards a bit so it seemed to be more a glow above her, but not entirely off of her.
It took me forever to get colors I liked

Wow. I like! Nice to see her kinda powering up instead of afterwards... Love the flowing hair and the effects... Her glowing eyes are just--eerie

Well, this shot is like right after she hits the "super" form.
I'll toss up another variant I have of it, which has her just starting to power up. I think it looks much better, for the contrast and colors, but that's me personally.

Damn! Now that's rocking. I like how you've gotten rid of the black lines and made her look so.. bright! Honestly that's bright, but it's still easy on the eyes. Good stuff, and good luck in the contest.
