Florida is hot and getting hotter. That’s one big reason we left. Visitors and relatives report that it's becoming unbearable. Even the beach water won’t cool you down anymore. One remaining escape is to go with the flow in the freshwater springs. You can’t tell from this low of a view, but the water is crystal clear. Still, I think a gator might be able to sneak up from below and bite your butt. Better to go in a group and reduce your chances of a gator chomp. This particular spring river is the Rainbow River.
