Description

Actually these snakes YELL with a forked tongue! They have the loudest hiss of any snake I’ve heard and I’m sure that recordings of it’s hiss are used in all the scary snake movies. Our son tried to keep one (not this one) as a pet but it kept us awake with the hissing. They are called Pine Snakes and live in the South East USA. They also win the prize for large eggs which hatch out babies 35 cm (15 inches) long.
