“(Name)?” Master Makarov asked as his face visibly paled. You tucked a strand of your (h/l) (h/c) hair behind your ear as you waited for Master Makarov to get over his shock. You stiffened when you felt someone hug you. You looked to see who it was and it turned out to be Makarov with a very large smile on his face.

“So you’re really back” he said as he sat back down in his seat. You nodded as you looked down at your hands.

“What happened to your eye?” Makarov asked as he just noticed the eye patch that covered your right eye.

“Oh, it was just to cover up the Fairy Tail symbol” you told him as you quickly took the eye patch off to reveal an orange Fairy Tail emblem that surrounded your right eye.

“Everyone thought you were crazy when you got the emblem placed there” Makarov said as he chuckled at the memory.

“They’ve forgotten and moved on, haven’t they?” you asked as a sad smile made its way to your (s/c) skinned face. Makarov reluctantly nodded and became quiet at the sight of your gloomy expression.

“I knew it would happen sooner or later if I left but I had to leave” you said as looked at Master Makarov with tears in your (e/c) eyes.

“Why did you have to leave (Name)?” he asked curious about how you suddenly had to leave the only family you had 10 years ago.

“My powers, I had to master to them” you said as you thought of all the people you
could’ve killed if you had decided to stay.

“Ah. What type of magic do you use?” he asked hoping you didn’t control one of the powerful lost magic’s.

“Controlling magic” you said knowing that Makarov would be worried by this. Makarov tensed as soon as you uttered those words. Controlling magic meant that the user could control objects or people; very rarely the user was able to control both. This type of magic was banned centuries ago though so it was almost impossible to be able to use controlling magic.

“Do you control people or objects?” Makarov asked clearly seeing why you had to leave all those years ago.

“Both” you said knowing that it was practically impossible but you proved everyone wrong. Makarov sighed at hearing these words but was glad that you to the initiative to leave and train somewhere no one could have gotten hurt by your abilities.

“Will anyone get hurt by your abilities if you stay?” Makarov asked you hoping you had enough control over your magic.

“Trust me, no one will be hurt by my powers unless I want them to” you said with a small smile.

“Well that’s good to know. I’d like to welcome you back to Fairy Tail!” Makarov said as he sent a huge smile your way. You smiled back eagerly and you were excited that you were back home after many years.

“So how’s Erza?” you asked since Erza was like an older sister to you.

“Why don’t you ask her yourself?” he said as he got up and went to the door way of his office.

“Hey Erza! Can I talk to you for a moment?” he shouted out into the guild hall. You froze in your seat and began to get nervous about seeing Erza after such a long time.

Erza’s P.O.V

“Hey Erza! Can I talk to you for a moment?” I heard Master Makarov call. I looked over to the doorway of his office and saw him beckoning me over.

“What could he want?” I heard Lucy asked clearly confused.

“I have no idea” Grey said as he looked at me.

“I am unsure as well” I told the group as I stood up.

“Where are you going?” Natsu asked as I began to head over to Makarov.

“I’m going to find out what he wants” I said over my shoulder as I continued in Master Makarov’s direction.

“I have someone who wants to see you” Makarov said as he stepped aside showing a young girl, maybe a year younger than Natsu with (h/l) (h/c) hair, (s/c) skin and (e/c) eyes. My eyes widened in shock when I saw the sparkling Fairy Tail emblem pendent she wore. It could only be her.

“(Name)?” I asked with uncertainty in my voice. I wanted to believe it was real but I knew I had to be dreaming.

Your P.O.V

“You’re not dreaming Erza” you said with a smile as you stood up and walked towards her. You could easily read her like always; you were one of the few people she told about her past.

“Are you sure?” she asked and you could tell that she wanted this to be real.

“Positive” you said as you hugged her tightly not wanting to let go. She hesitantly hugged you back before she began to squeeze you tightly.

“I’ve missed you so much” she said as she began to hug you tighter to the point you were struggling to breath.

“Erza.......can’t......breath” you managed to wheezed out. She quickly loosened her grip and muttered an apology.

“I missed you too Erza” you said before you gave her a quick hug.
“
Everyone will be so happy you’re back!” she said as a smile made its way to her face. You smile faltered when she said that. You weren’t ready to catch up with everyone just yet and you knew a few of those people wouldn’t be that happy you decided to show up after 10 years without sending any word to ease their worries.

“How about you catch me up on everything first” you said hoping to stall her from letting everyone know your back.

“Sure” she agreed before you both sat down and Erza began to fill you in on what happened in your absence.
