Taking a gander through some old Star Trek art from back in 2010. The majority of it is being posted to my tumblr [link] right now. This one is just one of my favourites... it has a nice movement flow from panel to panel.Geordi must realize how Data cockblocks him with the engineer ladies simply by existing. What engineer could resist getting their hands on hardware like that? And yet they are still best bros. That is some solid bromance there. We should all take notes.

Oh gods...it's just horribly sad how true that is. In fandom, I mean. All the OCs who latch onto Data without actually having anything in common with him...ugh.

Data was a cute, unclaimed robot, and yes, I always felt sorry for Geordie over that. But the hubby always pushed it aside that Data got more girls---now I can point and say, "See! Other people noticed! See!?!"

Data totally got more girls... he kissed at least two that I remember, dated one, was friends with several more and had a few one-sided (oblivious) flirtings flung his way, and even mentioned to Troi at one point that someday he might like to get married to someone (Man, did she gush over that. I don't blame her, my heart nearly exploded at that part XD).
Geordi just kept getting ditched and rejected and then fell in love with a hologram of a woman who in real life turned out to be married, the poor baby. I felt bad for him after a while, lol

Data's expression in the last panel makes it for me. I have such issues with drawing his face... Brent Spiner was a master at somehow expressing curiosity, interest, vulnerability and on occasion "kicked puppy", all while maintaining that semi-neutral android face
