I'm making a vampire group for the comic and first up in this little series is Eclipse!Now for the facts!
Name: Eclipse
- She is a big flirt
- She has a cute gold heart necklace that she leaves at the cave she lives in when she hunts
- She lives in a snowy area with a few other vampires
- Usually is sent to hunt in the water since she loves it so much
- Changing into a creepy form when the full moon comes.
- Is usually found away from the group since she likes being a lone wolf
- Thinks Nikki needs to get off her lazy butt, stop ordering her around, and go do something else for once. * Which if she says that to her gets her frozen to the wall *

XD Yeah I hear ya, well in addition, I also still draw with a mouse, that's two things I'm going to have to learn. So once I eventually get a tablet and Photoshop, I'm probably going to have to re-teach myself to draw digitally all over again. XD Which I've only recently (last 2 months) learned to do. I think I'd be too ashamed to show my first hidious attempts.

I took a look through your gallery and only problem I've come up with is I fail to find any art in there that looks crappy. But I do see how you've improved over time.^^
Well, lets just say as far as GIMP goes, that I went from literally not being able to figure out how to color a simple eyelid, to drawing a coloring an entire pic. The one I did for was the first pic. I did 100% digitally.^^

XD Well honestly I can see few proportional errors in some of those pics., but not at all bad. I still struggle a little with proporations, depending on the angle I'm drawing at, but the thing is, I can see as soon as I draw a specific line that it's off. So I'll keep erasing it and doing it over( maybe utter a few choice words in the process XD) until I get it right. Which eventually I do^^

:K Some views are harder than others so try looking at a few different pictures of what you are trying to draw. It helps.

Yeah I'm hard headed that way XD But your absolutily right, that's what I should do, but I like to try my darndest to get it right on my own first, but eventually if that doesn't work, I revert to looking at some pics. or my dragon figurines to give me some perspective of what angles I'm trying to achieve.

I got a lamp that I do that with^^ It's one of those snake lamps. I shine it at different angles to represent the sun at different times. Lately, I admit I've just been kind of lazy with the shading part. XD But your right

XD Lucky, my lamp like exploded last year. :K Well not really exploded but died and I don't feel like changing the bulb. X3 Sweet! :K I wanna lamp like that now. * goes to ebay * XD Shading is a pain so I don't blaim you with laziness when it comes to that. Yes, yes it is.

XD yeah there pretty cool because you can attach them anywhere and they give off really good light so you can really get a nice effect with the shading.^^
But shading does really bring life and perspective to a pic. so I should just get out of my laziness and do it XD I have been practicing with shading traditionally so once I feel I got it down, I'll do more with it digitally.

It's worth the search. Try an ACE hardware store or even Home Depot might have them, and there's always e-bay^^
