Description I'm making a vampire group for the comic and first up in this little series is Eclipse!

Now for the facts!

Name: Eclipse
- She is a big flirt
- She has a cute gold heart necklace that she leaves at the cave she lives in when she hunts
- She lives in a snowy area with a few other vampires
- Usually is sent to hunt in the water since she loves it so much
- Changing into a creepy form when the full moon comes.
- Is usually found away from the group since she likes being a lone wolf
- Thinks Nikki needs to get off her lazy butt, stop ordering her around, and go do something else for once. * Which if she says that to her gets her frozen to the wall *

<.< Now on to finishing Sunshine!

:K Never heard of ACE but Home Depo has like everything. <.< True, e-bay is an option.

XD Time is valuable theses days. <.< Though most of us waste it on random things. XD

I'm pretty sure Home Depot will have it Plus it'd be cheaper there.^^ It's worth a shot anyway.

XD I concur with you there.XD With me, between working, and commuting ( which in itself is over 2 hours XD) and my running which is usually over an hour, by the time I'm done all that, unless I stay up to the wee hours of the morning, I don't get the much time to draw now unf. But I'm changing careers and am going to work for myself so hopefully that will give me more time.^^

:K So true.

X) You run? Whats your time? o: And what kinda work do you do?

Yep^^ My fastest mile when I was in high school was 4mins.54secs. I mainly run long distance now, doing between six and eight miles a night, six nights a week.^^ This past Christmas I challenged myself to a 30 mile non-stop run with a time limit of 4 hours and 15 mins. AND I SUCCEEDED!^^ Beating my time limit by 10 minutes which puts me at a pace of just under eight minutes a mile. NOt bad for 30 miles XDD.

Right now I do Garden retail, but after 13 years it's gotten a bit...... stagnent..among other things XD So I'm going to work for myself, doing computer repair, clock repair, and plan on opening a small horse boarding operation. A big change yes, but one I'm looking foward to.^^ Plus I've always been into making fantasy stories and cartoons and would really love to do something more with this. Perhaps one day open my own studio. But that's later on down the road XD Much more planning, practicing and research to be done first.

o: You should do a run for canser or something. X3 There lotsa fun.

X3 Me and my friends have put money together to buy out a name that a company can't afford anymore. The name is like... Some amount but less then $100 and we are all going into different studies to help for a business. X3 I wish you much luck and if you can't open a studio and we make enough to have one. I'll invite you down for some ideas for stuff.

^^ I do I always love to run for good causes. And also because I just truely enjoy it^^ Then again I must enjoy it to have been a runner for 16 years XD BEfore that, I use to hate it, now I can't imagine not doing it XD

That sounds awesome^^ It's great to hear that you have a plan of action. Most people dive into these ventures with no plan what so ever. And usually fail because of that.

Thank you very much, and that would be awesome, I appreciate that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Keoko1 In reply to Elder-Vandermore [2011-02-18 02:57:24 +0000 UTC]

And you never know when doing those good causes will come back around to you.
X3 Running is so much fun.

._. Dude, never go into something with out a backup plan or a plan in general, it only makes it harder man.

X3

That's very true^^
I'm glad you see it that way too^^It is fun and relaxing. I usually come up with my best ideas during a run, because I just let my mind soar. A wonderful and welcome escape^^

I know....But unf. a lot of people don't think like that and just dive into it hoping for the best. .....Not the way to do it. Unless of course they want hardship. I alway believe in having a plan and back up plan. Like you said, it makes it much easier and less stressful because if one thing doesn't work, they'res always plan B and C and so forth.

My parents don't either XD My father thinks I should be institutionalized and my head examined XD and my mom...just doesn't grasp the concept. Oh, well if you're not a runner, you couldn't possible get how good it actually feels. But then again when your uncondtioned, it feels horrible XD I remember XDD I also have a 14 foot trampoline that I jump on. That does wonders for my imagination as well.^^

XD That is true XD

Keoko1 In reply to Elder-Vandermore [2011-02-19 16:29:23 +0000 UTC]

._. My mom says running is pointless for thinking. :K That and she wants me to stop because all the sharp turns I take on my right foot keeps hurting it more and more. I somehow twist it once every few months. And it SUUUCKS! >.< The trampoline we had got donated because my dad never felt like putting it back up when we moved.

And when the letter plans fail there is always the numbers.

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-02-19 22:32:05 +0000 UTC]

That couldn't be farther from the truth.
It sounds like you have the same problem I have. I've inherited weak ankles from my mom's side of the family. Plus you probably tend to under pronate (run on the outer part of your feet) and run on the balls of your feet like I do, which makes you more prone to sprains. I've sprained my ankles countless times, and your right, it does suck....royally>.<, but in my hard headedness, I'm usually running on it the next day. XD

It's all in the shoe. If you get the right running shoes you'll very rarely sprain an ankle( unless you let the shoes wear way down.) YOu need the type that are built up more on the outer part to give your ankles support and stablize your feet during your stride. Trust me it makes a huge differance. ( And they're not at all expensive ) When you do sprain, eat a lot of pineapple It contains an enzyme called Bromalin that acts to heal sprains and bruises twice as quick as would otherwise. ( It works! I always have some handy. Even canned pineapple is good^^ )

You know, it's funny, I was thinking the same exact thing XD

:K The doctor told me that I have torn apart most of the mussel and stuff in my foot so thats why it gets hurt so much. XD I do do that. XD Run it off man.

I need good running shoes. X3 Thats a neat fact, I need to try that sometime.

XD Great minds think alike.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-02-20 01:36:39 +0000 UTC]

Eeehh, that stinks :/ Even more a reason though to keep the muscles that you have left strong. Because( and I'm sure you kow this XD) if you stop running and lose that muscle and the muscle tone in the rest of your legs, that will make your ankle and foot even more unstable and prone to injury. So keep on runnin' to keep em' strong^^ Also, you might want to think about trying MSM supplements. It's a natural sulfur that your body actually requires to build new cartilage(important for runners joints) and reduce deep tissue inflammation which in itself will reduce the pain.

Having good running shoes makes a huge differance. I rarely sprain now. Look for the shoes that are built up more on the outer side. Make sure they have good arch support as well, and it wouldn't hurt to put extra insoles in them for extra shock absorbtion. Which will furthur protect your ankle and foot, and reduce pain.

Thank you^^ And that they do.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Keoko1 In reply to Elder-Vandermore [2011-02-23 20:23:46 +0000 UTC]

._. I never knew that. o: I'll give that a try sometime soon. Thanks!

:K But its hard to find nice running shoes with no arch in your foot. My feet are almost flat to the ground.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-02-24 00:20:55 +0000 UTC]

It takes time to notice a differance but it does make a big differance Plus it will help to preserve your joints as you get older. So you'll still be able to run in your later years without all the arthritis and joint pain that can come after many years of running.

My feet use to be that way too. I suggest finding shoes that have a small arch in them. Then gradually get ones with better arches. You can actually mold your foot over time to have a better arch. I once had flat feet and now I've got good arches.^^ Also to you'll reduce your risk of planter fasciaitis. A very, very, painful foot condition of where you pull the ligament that runs under your arch. Takes months to heal and hurts like hell.( I've had it) Basically finding the right shoe is trial and error. Make sure you try them on and ask them if it's okay if you go outside into the parking lot and do a few laps around the building to get a feel for them. Usually that's enough to tell

Keoko1 In reply to Elder-Vandermore [2011-02-25 19:47:44 +0000 UTC]

What was it called again? I need to ask my mom to get me it.

o: I never got what arches are for. Do they help you with speed or something?
._. Ouch... That just... ouch.
I'll give that a try next time we go shoe shopping. There is one store with like every shie you could every think about and an indoor track to try them out on.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-02-25 23:20:02 +0000 UTC]

The supplement's called MSM. (Methylsufonylmethane) Derived from a natural sulfur that your body requires to help build new cartilage. I take it myself daily and it does make a huge differance ^^ (Word of Caution) If you have a known allergy to shellfish, don't take this supplement. Your most likely fine though as shellfish allergies are quite rare

Not really with speed, more shock absorbtion. When you have flat feet, your entire foot, ankle, legs and lower back take an unnaturally large amount of shock and in time can cause problems down the road. Having good arches allows your legs and back to take the shock the way it's meant to take it. Disperses it evenly if you will. Therefore less likely to cause injury and pain in the long run. Esp. with ankles, which if you have weak ankles can mean the differance between constant injury and practicly no injury or pain.

XD yes..it was a big ouch.XD It sucked royally having it. It took about six months to fully resolve. Probably because (in my seemingly infinite hard headedness XD) I refused to allow it to stop me from running, and ran on it when I should have rested it for a while. Massaging it and changing my shoes did help but even under the best conditions it takes at least 4 months to heal. Knock on wood I've not gotten it again since. Now it's just this damn, stubborn achillies tendonitis XD. Another common problem. Usually effects long distance runners. But again besides stretching properly, it's all in the shoe

That's cool^^ A word of advice,..don't let the sales people try and talk you into a shoe that doesn't feel right. You know your feet better than anybody, so just go by what feels right, BUT.. I would recommend getting a shoe that's built up more on the outside to help stablize your feet. That will reduce your risk of sprains^^

'If you have a known allergy to shellfish' XD LOL What?

I see. I'll try to change my flat footedness as soon as I can. :K It will take like... Maybe 2 years before its considered normal.

._. It sounds super painfull. XD To us its like ' Run it off ' :K My P.E. class last year made sure you know how to stretch properly before doing all sorts of different activities. <3 Running was always my favorite even if only one of my friends could actually keep up with me.

I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-03-02 04:01:45 +0000 UTC]

XD I realized I got Glucamin Chondrodon and MSM mixed up. Glucamin Chondrodon has the shellfish in it. MSM does not. So you can disregard that caution.XD But yeah some people are allergic to shellfish and therefore can't take Glucamin Chondrodon supplements. (Another supplement that supports joint health)

Yeah it usually takes at least a year or so.

That's right XD Just run it off. Though I need to stretch better. I know full well that I should stretch but I'm just to lazy to do it XD No excuse I know XD

Running once I got use to it was really fun for me too. And just like you I usually ran alone because no one could keep up. Even on a bicycle XD I even had a friend come with me on horse back and the horse even got tired XDD Speaks volumes for me I guess

And no problem^^

._. That is a strange ingredient *sp?*.

:K Ya, I thought so.

XD You're too lazy to stretch but not too lazy to run afterwards? LOL

XD I would be like ' Nahnahnahnahnahnaaaaah!" At the horse or the person on the bike then I would so trip over something and fall flat on my face.

Elder-Vandermore In reply to Keoko1 [2011-03-03 02:45:59 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I don't quite understand that myself. XD Maybe because of it's calcium content or it's oils which are good for joints.

^^

LOL yep, go figure right? XD Something that would take all but two minutes too XDD

LOL Yeah then they'd be singing 'Nahnahnahnahnahnaaaaah' to you
