Look, another pokemon picture! People seem to like those, so I guess I'll toss another up here. This one is not an established character from the series, although I guess you can pretend it's that swimmer trainer class from Alola, but without her sunglasses. Feel free to imagine those straps as part of some other outfit, however, if that suits your fancy. My intent certainly wasn't to replicate that swimmer lady, just to draw a short haired girl who was a pokemon trainer. I put the straps there because I initially just shaded upper body, but I didn't want to imply she was naked, as I know some people would assume.

This was another experiment in combining media. For this, I used the pencil settings from Nintendo's New Art Academy app for the 3DS, transferred it to a computer, then digitally touched the picture up with the GIMP 2.1. After I fixed all the proportions and similar tweaks, I split it into three layers. One layers I did a color (white) to alpha mod on, so you could see through it except for the lineart and now semi-transparent shading. The other I made very slightly transparent, and the third I colored with some bright, gaudy colors in very lazy strokes. The colors show just slightly through the barely transparent layer and through the top layer where the lineart doesn't get in the way, creating a much more toned down image, hinting at its black-and-white origins but with just the faintest impression of color.
