Went to catalina this last weekend and we climbed the tallest mountain we could find one day. This isn't the top, but it's still very high. Unfortunately, it was hazy and the distance wasn't all that clear, but still good.Related content

Oh, it definitely was. The trek up to there was pretty intense. There are gaping 3' across clefts in the mountain in some parts and the risk of slipping in a little ravine and falling on a toppled barbed wire fence. You'd have to be pretty determined to make the ascent to actually go through with it. I'm in pretty decent shape and it was a real struggle. I checked on google maps and the final altitude looked to be around 800-1000 feet. Pretty steep angle too.
Well worth it for me though.
