Description
This is the 60 unit version. It took me all week. Damn thing kept falling apart. Finally solved the problem by sitting it in a depression lined with plastic wrap while I was building. Somehow, it worked. It lasted just long enough to take this picture. and show my family. then it collapsed. I'm probably going to glue it together so that I can sell it since a lot of people have expressed interest in buying it. We'll see.Made with 60 "electra" modules.

Probably because the 60unit one has a tendency to fall apart without glue. Not very stable at all.

Ah, I always use glue anyways just so I know its safer when people touch it

Awesome! Interesting idea alternating between triangles, squares and pentagons.

I wish I could take credit for it... But alas, I got it from the book "Paper Crystals" by David Mitchell. A great book I'd heartily recommend if you can get your hands on it. really examines some differant ways of connecting modules. Like this one. I knew there had to be a 60 unit version (There's always a 60 unit version. And maybe a 90 unit one. Might have to examine that) but I never would have thought to add in squares. Makes sense in hindsight, but it's so foreign to how I usually see units.
