Well it's nice to be back
My first Logo concept this year is for the new Zelda game that has been announced by Nintendo for the 3DS.
It's a direct followup to "A Link to the Past" so i made it sound like it ^_^
The official subtitle tho has jet to be announced.

Credits:
I got the Zelda Logo from Wikipedia [link] but i had to change it a little because the Logo had some errors here and there
And the Hylian Font (the small symbols on the pocket watch) is made by Sarinilli [link]
The Pocket Watch was inspired and roughly modeled after this one right here [link]

well you have to define future
A Link to the Past is set a hundred or so years (dont know how many years) befor the Original "The Legend of Zelda" on the NES and its sequel "Zelda 2: Adventure of Link"
so as a sequel to A Link to The Past that is set in the Future it could be that this "future" takes place befor the original game
and by the way, the original idea for Zelda had a futuristic world. the original idea was that the player can travel in time. the TriForce originally was a set of 3 Computer Chips...
would be interesting to see this idea revived

reminds me of the avgn legend of zelda chronologically confused video when he mentions the timelines getting messed up and he changes the link to the past title
