Read the rest of "I'm My Own Mascot" here: www.kevinbolk.com/comic/mascot…Folks at parties have asked me why I don't drink. This is pretty much the reason. I'm one of the few people who's actually LESS fun when they're drunk. That, and I'm easily susceptible to hangovers. XD

I'm too scared to find out how I act when I'm drunk. I'm 22 and the only things I've ever had were a Shot of Tequila and glasses of champagne at New Years.

This is pure genius... I'm 20 and all my friends have been drinking for years. I DD for them and the thought of being like them scares me. I might try it after I turn 21 and in my house where I know my family will put up with me and I'll be safe. My friends can be real dicks sometimes (even the girls). I can't trust them like they can trust me.

'Cause on New Year's someone left their champagne out, and it looks just like sparkling apple cider, which I'd been drinking that night. Plus it was in the same kind of glass as I had mine, so I took a sip, thinking it was my cider. And it tasted like shit.
So I didn't drink enough to get drunk. Just enough to know it tastes fucking awful.
Also, I thought someone would catch that. But would've looked stupider if I went back and commented on my own comment, when people usually don't give a crap.

that's because cider IS awful, it's like drinking vinegar, also you can't really make a decision on what you do or don't like based on cheap alcohol because you get what you pay for, the best vodca costs about $150 over here

....Apple cider. Not alcohol cider. Apple cider. Basically fizzy, fancy juice. What I accidentally drank was champagne. I have no clue what it costs, and all of my friends have at one point or another taken a sip of something their parents were drinking, and no matter how expensive it was, they all said it tasted like soap or some other nasty thing.
And if you're talking about expensive stuff, fine. When I was a bit younger than the time on New Year's, I was camping with my friends in a place where they grow a lot of grapes, so there were a lot of wine tasting places, with fairly expensive stuff. When my dad and my friend's dad went out to buy whatever we needed, and our moms wanted to go wine tasting, they offered to let us try a tiny bit because we were curious. But after the first couple of times I didn't want to, because it again tasted awful.

yeah, we have 4 seed, it's apple cider, which is alcoholic and the only type I know really... it's kinda like how ginger beer here is not actually alcoholic but over seas it is.
and as for whine... the only good thing that wine is for, is to get really fucking drunk off, personally, i can't stand the flavour, but meh, two glasses and i'm basically off my face...
don't judge something until you've actually tried it yourself, you might be pleasantly surprised...

*giggles* I get overly touchy feely when I'm drunk... and apparently I bite *giggles* apparently last time i got really drunk I was gnawing on my husband's shirt and arm 'playfully' I mean yeah I usually do that in joking when I'm really hungry or something but apparently I do it in excess when I'm really drunk. I also know I'm REALLY bad at poker when I'm drunk... I remember my first hand was like a 2 and a queen and I bet half my money on it... then I don't remember any more but apparently my next hand was a three and a five and I bet the rest of my money and lost it all... (and I'm a good poker player when i'm sober)

Nobody should ever get me drunk...I basically become convinced that everyone is out to get me and lash out at even my closest friends, so I'm REALLY not fun to be around.
