Churches don't earn money, they take it by intimidating people via quoting Malachi 3 : 8 out of context.
It's a crime. Tithe is meant for foreigners, orphans, and widows (and Levites, technically). Not Pastors.
(though Levites is probably refering to Levite priests)
I'm not Christian, but I think most charities are horrible. The money doesn't go to the people that need it.
A lot of people need financial, medical, and other forms of help, and I plan to help them in the future, but these
organizations misuse the money they receive from people that mean well.

There's a progressive Christian blog on Patheos (The Slacktivist) that detailed a similar concept, dubbed the "Anti Kitten-Burning Coalition". The idea was that downward comparisons can be used to promote the feeling that one is especially moral or righteous compared to other people, even when the downward comparison isn't grounded in reality (i.e. practically no one condones kitten-burning or kitten-burners, so expressing strong public opposition to kitten-burning does not demonstrate that a person is more morally enlightened than most people).
I love how you expressed this so well in just five panels! The body language and facial expressions are perfect for the words.
