Yeah, a lot of my fellow Baltimore peeps were a little disappointed that the Ravens got so close to the Super Bowl but lost it to the Patriots. Again, I really couldn't care less about football, but still.... that's hometown pride for ya'.

All I have to say is, 12th Man. I'm not that big into football either but when my local team accomplishes something I can't help but be swept up by the infectious pride. And partying. Always a good reason to party. Unless it's baseball. No one cares about baseball lol.

It would be riots everywhere here in Baltimore, if the Ravens go the Superbowl. Lol and they are suppose to be happy

This is probably the stupidest pet peeve in the world but it is sooooooo good to see someone use the phrase "I couldn't care less" correctly. It's so hard to keep my mouth shut when people say that they could care less.

Well, I'm not into football either, but I every Friday night I had to get into the spirit and cheer on my high school team. And when I say I had to I mean it. I was in my high school band, so yeah. Besides, most everyone in Texas gets so excited about football, whether it be professional or plain old high school football.

You remind me of myself. No matter how much I am NOT into football, I still wind up talking about football, even taking a glimpse of the game. I guess I'm the type of person who still has that hometown pride.

I can understand why Baltimore goes nuts about Ravens, especially when they are so close to the Super Bowl. The only other major sports team in Baltimore is the Orioles and...well...yeah, they're terrible.

I remember when the Ravens won the Super Bowl. I was a senior in high school and I bought a souvenir tassel that had purple and black strings, even though my high school colors were gold, brown, and orange. Again, hometown pride.

Football, Football, is that another way to play hockey? You don't really hear canadiens talking about that kind of stuff. We prefer games on ice.

I live in New York, so all I get to hear about is the Yankees and how much we hate the Red Socks, I don't think anyone even cares about other sports like football. I mean, when the Giants do well, you hear about it, but they don't really come up in conversation like Baseball does for some reason. I dunno. Sports are weird; I play music instead xD

Awesome comic btw, I'm like that too. ^^

Hee hee. Its a curious thing, hometown pride. A person can be proud of their town for its booming economy, its popular tourist sites, its various assorted food dishes, anything really, but even years after living there, they still hesitate to acknowledge some of the LESS accomplishments of their home. As cliche as it is, home is where the heart is and rarely does anyone want to admit how much filth may have built up in the corners of the room, how the smoke and waste has polluted their home's atmosphere, and how many minor feuds exist within the family.
