This comic was based on a conversation Sarah and I had during a long night of cutting art cards for our next convention appearance...which tends to happen during our patented pre-con all-nighters. SLEEP IS FOR THE WEAK....and thumbless.

Reminds me of the joke where someone finds a yuppie who has somehow survived a major car accident. The yuppie is curled up rocking back and forth next to his smashed BMW, or Lexis, etc. groaning, "My car... my car... my car... "
The Good Samaritan calls 911 and starts giving first aid. It isn't long before he notices the yuppie's arm has been completely cut off by the impact.
"You lost an arm, pal," he says. "That's a bigger deal than your car."
The yuppie looks down where his arm used to be, curls up again and resumes rocking back and forth. "My Rolex... my Rolex... my Rolex... "
Ah well. Too much comic relief?
