Description Inspired by images from Tim Burton's new "Alice in Wonderland" movie, I reimagined my comic strip in his...ahem...style.

I poke fun, but I actually do like a lot of Burton films (Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, and Batman especially).

But I'm a total film snob, so I could probably go on all day if you guys let me.

His house must be full of like tacky fake spider webs and candy corn that can be carbon dated to 1912. Hell that's how Alice gets to Wonderland in this movie. She passes out in a Hot Topic trying to chase after a little kid in a white hoodie THAT YOU CAN NOW OWN FOR $24.99!

he's got his false vampire teeth in Alice now?

I wonder if Timmy realises exactly how warped and demented he is. Does he honestly think he's good with kids? Why does he keep going for children stories? He's no good at them. Stick to dark stuff or claymation musicals. That's where he excels.

I'd say something witty, but somehow everything just turned to goo when I read "Johnny Depp as Kevin". Wow.

Yep, I have to agree, you're pretty spot on.

...I could ask a whole LIST'S WORTH of "What would it be like if [director] directed your strip?" but... I guess I'll settle with "It'd be neat if you did more like this."

That's not a half-bad idea, actually. I think Michael Bay would have to be first on the chopping block.

If Michael Bay directed this comic it would have to be a non-stop special effects crazy robot epic battle.

Hahaha, If the credits read Winona Ryder, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman, you just saw a Tim Burton film.

Well they're good friends in real life too. They first worked together on 'Edward Scissorhands' and just hit it off after that. When Tim Burton asks Johnny Depp to be in one of his movies, it's like asking a friend to help you out with something... I mean they're the godfathers of each other's children.

Tim Burton likes to live up to his own self imposed image as crazy weird fook. D:

And he's just that guy that is easy to get tired of at times.

isnt hot topic run by the same company as clairs? o.O wierd combination there. Especially when people think Hot Topic is the haven for non-conformists.

Composer who did the score for pretty much EVERY Tim Burton film and a bunch of other stuff too.

[link]

Also the lead singer/songwriter for Oingo Boingo (who brought us such 80's classics as "Weird Science" and "Dead Man's Party".

While I do enjoy the Tim Burton, I will admit you hit the nail on the head.

But yeah Tim Burton and his ilk doing Alice In Wonderland is the most predictable thing ever, even more so than Sweeney Todd! But I'll probably enjoy it, just like I enjoyed Sweeney Todd
