Just FYI ;D This is an un-retouched still frame from my first time using the Canon 5D Mark II for video. Unfortunately unable to take advantage of the strobe lighting I used for stills.For my friends *Diamoneyes & *agxposed. Alternative title 'How to Swing a Battle Ax, Lesson #1'. Model Makayla and weapon from [link] It takes some muscle to swing that thing, a good solid butt is pretty much essential for counter-balance ;')

Oooh you posted a still frame from a video =o I do like the pose, it looks like she is in the middle of swinging that axe (but then again it's from a video, of course she is! 
How do you find the video quality, and is this a picture you took (ie pressed the shutter button) while taking the video, or is it a pause-and-export-from-video sort of thing? (not sure if there is such a function

The video on the Canon 5D is awesome, though a little awkward to use, not like a regular video camera. For instance, the camera to subject distance has to stay fixed.
It switches from video to still when you press the shutter release (see Camera Data there on the side, remember there was no studio strobe, hence those settings) so there is probably a pause or break in the video when that happens. I've watched some of it in Quicktime but when I import it to iMovie it alters the aspect ratio from the 'cinema' format it was shot in, it ummm, moshes it haha

=o that's interesting, I have no idea if my camera-subject distance has to stay fixed when I take videos, but the camera is pretty much stuck on live-view mode during a video, and that consumes battery like whoa! =o
It makes sense that the camera switches to still (I hadn't thought about this before).. did you notice any pause or break due to taking the picture?
