Description Prague. Cafe Gulu Gulu. It 's where we would go to journal to those back home. The walls there were painted by Miro.

She wrote a postcard in the afternoon light. I wrote to someone I loved...and took this picture.

This is just so absolutely beautiful. I love the way her face is so bright and clear though all around her is blurred. It's breathtaking.. and she is as well. I will have to check on your art often.

So beautiful-- I feel redundant in my comments on your work because they always are saying how beautiful your art is but I cant help it because it IS Love the way she is glancing down and that wonderful sepia tone

that's funny... i always wanted my name to be 'lydia' ... since i saw the fim 'beetlejuice' with winona ryder playing the goth character lydia... i fell in love with her and wanted to look and be like her... and of course i wanted her name. she helped the dark side in me out of the closet
she reminds me of another model of yours... [link] maybe it's only the angle
prague is one of the most beautiful places i've ever been

I never thought about that....they are SUCH different people and those shots were seperated by years...Nataya is very intense and Lydia is just fun loving. I haven't seen her since Prague though we coresponded a number of times over the years. That time in Prague was one of the most magical of my life....I can't wait to return to that city....

oh and here....
because I live in California....

funny that there is a connection nevertheless.... and even if it's only the angle and resemblance in a photo

please - if you should ever head for prague again tell me
it's not that far away from where i live

This is so beautiful, I love how you've edited it. It looks aged and worn. Timeless. She's writing a postcard...It looks as if she's trying to find the appropriate words. How does one convey emotions onto paper? With care. It looks like she's succeeding.

I love the way in places it seems so deep and rich, and in others bleached and flat. Is this panchromatic film? Tri-X? Whichever way, another wonderful slice of emotion.

My aunt just moved to LA, and whenever I go to visit her, I'm going to pay you to take some oilgraph portraits of me, okay? I'm also gunna buy some of your other prints, and make you let me watch you work. Bwahahahah ohhhh that will be excellent.

beautiful portrait. I like the postwork. maybe the light stroke at the tip of her nose is a bit distracting. the angle and contrast work very well. especially the way you did the hair is great.
