Center Panel detail of The Awakening. [link]Jan Hus is the central figure.
The mural created for the exhibition " Until the Road Forgets" at the Pasadena Museum of California Art.
The center figure is Jan Hus, the 15th Century martyr who was burned at the stake in Constance, Germany in 1415. It is a 360 degree view of Old Town Prague comprised of 250+ photographic elements.

there is art that I cannot understand therefore I do not like, there is art which I like but I cannot understand and that makes me like it even more. This is one of them. I wish I could see the original version.

I don't understand this one at all, it's a photo? So much DA photography, sometimes I wish I were into photography. I'm not really sure what to say since I still don't get it, but it sure sounds impressive, and hey, it's another photo that got a daily dev, so congrats on that.

Outstanding....and powerful in a way that defies language. i hardly know what to say, how to comment. This inspires me back to the thoughts i used to have on creating darker art....
i read what you wrote about the story of the blood and how it got onto the painting. OUCH! about the exacto. i was glad that you did not need stitches.
i am in awe of your talent, your imagination and the dedication it took to start and to finish this piece. You certainly deserved the DD.
