Description
Donna Clark basic break down of the process. The over-painting layer is where all the detail came in, and then refined with a simple shadow layer (basically dark colour w/ multiply and low opacity to taste) to add some extra shading in areas around nose, under eyelids, etc. Highlights obviously just to make the eyes pop and throw in some minor bounce under the chin and finishing up painting in a few extra strokes for hair detail.
