Your comment made me remember an old silver age tale when Superman and Flash exchanged ids. Flash thinks he's Superman and can't understand why he "lost" his other powers, meanwhile, Supes cannot understand why he ("Flash") "lost" his dispersal powers.

In the Silver Age he was supposed to fold it under the shirt. Later John Byrne shown Superman putting his shirt and cape at superspeed. I'm following the later, so Clark can wear short sleeves.
