Description
This image was inspired when I was playing on my phone doing nothing important, and my 2-year old daughter wanted to play with me. She said "get off your phone". I love my phone and all of the cool things I can do with it, but I really need to put it down more and enjoy my children as much as I can.All images by me.

i feel you on that... seriously want to say this to people around me too. I feel that when I'm with a person - talking face to face with them, I want to give them my FULL attention. It makes little sense to me, when the people around me are so engrossed in texting or games and find them more interesting than a potential conversation.
Sigh... shame really, but hey to each their own. Phones are nice for the little things they do though

Lovely work, shitty message. When I was living in VA, dealing with a very difficuly divorce and miles away from my entire family, my phone was one of my few sources of sanity. It kept me connected to the people that loved me, and helped me survive the incredible depths of depression I endured during those years. So, no, I will not get off my damn phone.

I'm sorry, I should have included my inspiration for this image. My daughter wanted to play with me and she said "get off your phone". I'm addicted to my phone sometimes, and my daughter really wants me to put it down and just be a daddy to her. Phones are awesome and they do a lot of great things, and can even connect us to family and friends miles away. But if I'm using it for nothing important, I think it's time to put it down and spend time with my little girl. Thanks for your honest feedback, and I'm sorry about any confusion I may have caused. Have a great week!

Ok, I do not necessarily agree with the preachy message, but the execution is excellent.

Yeah! When you get something, you also lost something at the same time.

WOW - this just breaks my heart! How very well you have managed to capture this very sad and poignant problem is stunning. Too many parents are more concerned about social media than they are their own children. And we wonder why our children are acting out...

What if they use their phones for work? Can't take care of a kid without a freaking job.
