Yeah I designed him to be friendly looking. Tsuso was assigned to ammi to act as her E.A.C (External artifical conscience) 
Because in this world, humans are programmed at birth to be rid of all flaws so they are perfect human beings. However Ammi was unable to be programmed and therefore has all of these deemed negative traits and is generally untrusted in her community.

Since she is so different to everyone else, Tsuso was given to her to keep her from going astary, but also to protect her from people that might attack her since she is considered  an 'error' to the human race. He has a pre-recorded voice that tells her what she should do in any given situation. (Think like a baymax voice)
But over their years of bonding, (and some tinkering from Ammi) Tsuso has broken away from his programming and become more a companion and pet to Ammi. He still has the prerecorded voice telling her what to do. E.g  "This area is out of bounds, please vacate immediately to avoid punishment." But he'll just sit there and wag his tail. He lets her do what she wants...

Oh don't be sorry, I love hearing the concept behind people's characters.   Now I have to ask about the third character, the ghost fox. How does he fit in with the trio?

Kitsei~ Hes the fast talking, smart ass of the group. 
Before I go into detail i'll warn you.
This whole idea is a little bit 'Naruto-esque' I can't help it, Im a sucker for tht anime. But alas, I'm not going to fully develop this story anymore (anytime soon atleast) so Its not a huge deal. x)


Kitsei is a kitsune spirit trapped inside a Katana. The sword was obviously found by Ammi and in return for giving her his power she would help him find a way to release his curse.
Thing about Kitsei is while his memory is mostly faded he is almost certain that once upon a time he was human. He has memories of a time where the sky was blue and grass was green and animals were everywhere. (Where in this story there is almost no natural plant or animal life)  Kitsei was a person from a time similar to our own! So technology was around but nowhere near as advanced as the setting of Error. He would educate Ammi as best as he could telling her how the world is supposed to be. Atleast in his opinion. 
He was cursed by the sword for stealing it from a shrine! So It's his own fault really, but hes not an all bad guy. He seems like hes using Ammi sometimes to get out of his curse, but deep down he really does care about her wellbeing and helping fix the world.

So cool! I hope you got a good grade on this assignment. You've put a lot of thought into it.   I can imagine how Kitsei regaining his old memories might affect him, especially if his new memories caused his personality to conflict with how he used to be. So many story possibilities here, it's fun just to ponder it.
