AniNaMega...realism?o.o; O no...So well lessee here....not only did the scanner jack up the color,cut off the bottom part of the pic,and all together RUIN Gackt's hair but it also managed to stretch the pic out as well..
*scratches head*...ANYWAY!
Wow what's this?It's an attempt at realism painting? Yesh....maybe it is...but it is ALSO Gackt-sama!!^.^ My fave JRocker....Yes even tho' SOME people may fight me and counter with "Miyavi's better."....Well...moogle that...
And yes I defiantely used a photo because this was my first realistic painting eva!
Yeah I had to kill my obsession before it got dangerous..
I call this...."Tidus"-Gackt...I hate the skin most....just because there were so many shades and this scanned version makes me hate what I've done...lol...
I don't even know if I want to have people crit me on this....eh....15 hours worth of work....first realism painting eva.......ah,sure what the heck?Crit me....^-^
More to come and defiantely I will do more realism soon!!
Done with 9B pencil and acrylic paints on a canvas...about 16x12.....ya...

I immediately knew this was Gackt before checking the title--you really did a great job capturing his likeness! 
The painting overall is well-done. I really like how you've done his hair, with brown hues for shading the blond and a white for the stark highlights. And using light blues and grays for the shadows on his shirt shows you've got knowledge of your colours there! The details look great; I imagine they were a bit tough to tackle at times (at least, it was for me when I used to paint).
My only suggestion is that you keep good on your word and do more realism paintings. I think for a first one this is very impressive, and creating more portraits will certainly give a chance to improve.

I will try to keep good to my word and produce more realism (particularly paintings) in the future so I can improve and expand my skills!

I thought the skin was very good, it has a nice mix of purples, reds and yellows. He looks like he's wearing lipstick though. Overall, it's gorgeous^^

Yeah actually I think Gackt could cosplay almost any freakin FF char he wanted to!He's had hair that resembles not only Tidus but Squall,Cloud, and Kenshin (from Rurouni Kenshin) as well....he'd be an out-of-this-world cosplayer if he chose to dress up like a few chars..
