That's right! I think i'll be going with Flareon. When I was drawing her, I felt more comfortable and I have a better grasp of the personality I'd use for her. I know Eeveelutions are damn overrused, but i'm skipping the eevee part for Hazel and Flareon is probably the most underused Eeveelution, maybe?
I want to get a better grasp on drawing her and just using her in general! Please go ask questions on TUMBLR~ Anon or not, I really want some! And feel free to ask any other characters questions too!! <3

It's a difficult thing to set up! I feel roleplaying and just drawing the character a lot is the best way... plus getting their backstory straight in your head. I failed to do that for a couple characters and am still trying to figure out good ones...

I've thought about roleplaying but I only Just got back into it. I fear I'm not that good at it. And drawing, I do it all the time so no worries there.
I think I finally got them down with back stories. Desmond has a little bit of a bad past when it comes to how love works while Acalan has a good but I guess kind of boring one. I wanted something to explain their personalities and differing views XD

Ah, I know what you mean. I stopped roleplaying for a year or two, and really only wrote Fanfiction. My style is more fanfictiony than rping, I think. I try to control myself, but it doesn't always work. xD Though, don't worry about not being good at it! Everyone feels like that. Or at least I do!
That sounds like an interesting clash! Simpler backstories are definitely okay, not everyone's parents need to be murdered before their eyes while they claim revenge or something! Haha.

Yeah I just stopped writing mostly that year except for homework papers. It kinda sucked so I'm rusty on my story telling ability. I drew like crazy but I didn't write. D:
I'm hoping it will be. I'm still getting used to thier interactions and have sketched out a m6 page one two times trying to get something I liked. XD And yeah I agree, it makes sense too that not everyone had their folks killed in front of them and lived a decent life. XD

Yeah, it does take a good amount of using/drawing characters to get a good feeling! Haha, yeah, most people live very normal lives, so you'd think a lot of Pokemon would have moderately normal lives too. xD
